Scotland's Blair Kinghorn and England's Tommy Freeman have been nominated for the prestigious Six Nations 2025 Player of the Championship award, following their remarkable performances throughout the tournament.

Blair Kinghorn, the Scotland full-back, dominated the field with a tournament-high 86 carries and nine line-breaks, solidifying his reputation as one of the most dynamic players in the competition. Meanwhile, Tommy Freeman, who started as England's outside centre in the final-round victory over Wales, made history by becoming the first Englishman to score a try in every match of a Six Nations campaign.

Their exceptional form has also positioned them as strong contenders for selection in the British and Irish Lions squad for their upcoming summer tour to Australia.

Joining them on the four-player shortlist are Louis Bielle-Biarrey, the influential France wing who led the tournament with eight tries—the highest in the Six Nations era—and Tommaso Menoncello, the Italian centre who won the award last year. Menoncello showcased his versatility by excelling on both offense and defense, recording three turnovers (the most of any back) and scoring two tries.

The winner of the award will be determined by a fan vote, which closes on Monday, 24 March at 22:00 GMT. Additionally, the Six Nations Team of the Championship is set to be announced on Thursday, 20 March.

This year's Six Nations has been a showcase of talent, with players like Kinghorn, Freeman, Bielle-Biarrey, and Menoncello leading the charge.
