AC Milan captain Mike Maignan has been discharged from the hospital following a head-on collision with teammate Alex Jimenez during Friday's 4-0 Serie A win at Udinese. The incident occurred in the 51st minute, and Maignan, who appeared to be knocked unconscious, was fully conscious when carried off on a stretcher. Defender Jimenez was substituted in the 72nd minute. Milan players expressed immediate concern, and the manager praised the home fans for their support. Maignan was previously a victim of racial abuse by Udinese fans. Rafael Leao, Strahinja Pavlovic, Theo Hernandez, and Tijjani Reijnders scored for Milan. The team has upcoming matches against Atalanta and Inter Milan.
