Record-Breaking Women's Tour of Britain 2025: A Global Cycling Spectacle

The 2025 Women's Tour of Britain is set to feature a record 18 teams, including 12 World Tour teams, making it a premier event in women's cycling.

The Women's Tour of Britain 2025 is gearing up to be an unforgettable event in the world of cycling, with a record-breaking 18 teams set to compete. This year’s race, which kicks off on 5th June in Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire, will see 12 UCI Women's World Tour teams and 108 riders battling for glory.

Defending Champions and Rising Stars

Belgian cyclist Lotte Kopecky from Team SD Worx – Protime will be defending her title, while Pfeiffer Georgi, the British champion from Team Picnic PostNL, will also be in the mix. With teams from 10 different countries participating, the competition promises to be fierce and diverse.

Debut Appearances

This year’s race will also mark the debut of EF Education – Oatly and AG Insurance – Soudal, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event. The inclusion of these teams highlights the growing international appeal of the Women's Tour of Britain.

Jonathan Day, managing director of British Cycling Events, expressed his enthusiasm: "This year's incredible line-up of teams is a testament to the hard work that has gone into the Tour of Britain Women over the past 18 months.
