Owen Farrell has made a poignant return to Saracens, expressing his desire to 'love every minute' of his rugby journey once again. After a challenging season with Racing 92 in France, the 33-year-old former Sarries captain is determined to make the most of his remaining years in the sport.

A Glittering Career

Farrell's career with Saracens began in 2008, and over 16 seasons, he became a cornerstone of the club's success. He made 256 appearances, won six Premiership titles, and secured three European Champions Cups. His leadership also saw him captain the England national team, earning 112 caps and leading the side to the 2019 World Cup final.

Challenges in France

Farrell's move to Racing 92 was marked by injuries, limiting him to just 17 appearances in one season. Despite the setbacks, he has no regrets about the experience. 'I'd have liked to have played more. I'd have liked to have felt more like myself at times while I was out there but I'm really glad for the experience,' he shared.

Focus on the Future

Now back at Saracens, Farrell is focused on getting into the 'best place to perform'. 'I feel it's best. I've had a difficult enough year and these years now are getting more and more precious and I'm determined now to make the most of everything that is to come,' he told BBC Radio 5 Live.

England Return Speculations

With his return to the Premiership, Farrell is once again eligible for England selection. However, he remains focused on his immediate goals. 'It's all very hypothetical and at the moment my only goal is to get back here [at Saracens] and get myself in the best place to perform,' he said.
