Everton Bolsters Squad with Exciting Loan Signing of England Winger Katie Robinson
Everton secures England winger Katie Robinson on loan from Aston Villa, enhancing their squad for the upcoming Women's Super League season.

Everton has made a significant addition to their squad by signing England winger Katie Robinson on loan from Aston Villa, with an option to buy. Robinson, who joined Villa on a free transfer from Brighton in 2024, is the Toffees' sixth signing of the summer. The 22-year-old made 16 appearances in all competitions for Villa last season but only started five matches under new manager Natalia Arroyo between January and May.
Robinson expressed her excitement about joining the Women's Super League club, citing Everton manager Brian Sorensen's clear vision for the team. "That is really important for me - to be a part of a club that has that clear vision," she told Evertonfc.com.
Robinson, who impressed during her time at Brighton, is considered a young forward with high potential. She was the youngest member of Sarina Wiegman's Lionesses squad that reached the Women's World Cup final two years ago. "She is a direct forward who loves to take her marker on," Sorensen said.
This summer, Everton has also secured the signings of Spanish forward Ornella Vignola, Netherlands midfielder Rosa van Gool, and Japan internationals Rion Ishikawa, Hikaru Kitagawa, and Yuka Momiki. Meanwhile, the Toffees have confirmed that 27-year-old Greece winger Veatriki Sarri has left the club to join Birmingham City on a permanent transfer.
