Everton has successfully negotiated a £28m deal to acquire Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. The agreement includes an initial payment of £24m, with additional £3-4m in potential add-ons. Despite late interest from Fulham, Dewsbury-Hall is set to finalize personal terms and undergo a medical examination.

Dewsbury-Hall, aged 26, initially hesitated to leave Stamford Bridge after a season where he played a supporting role in Chelsea's victories in the FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Conference League, as well as their qualification for the Champions League. However, Chelsea was open to the transfer, aiming to recoup most of the £30m spent to bring him from Leicester City in 2024, where he reunited with Enzo Maresca, who also moved from Leicester to manage Chelsea.

In other transfer news, Everton has been in talks with Southampton for winger Tyler Dibling, but may withdraw if the valuation for the 19-year-old does not decrease after a second bid was rejected. Manager David Moyes commented in his final press conference at the Premier League Summer Series: "I think there'll be deals next week. We're getting much closer, but I felt that four or five weeks ago as well. Obviously, we're getting near the tickly bits and we've got to get some things done."

Following the signing of Dutch defender Jorrel Hato from Ajax, Chelsea is actively negotiating multiple sales this week. French midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu, 21, has agreed to join Burnley, who are also in advanced talks with their Albanian forward Armando Broja, 23. Additionally, Borussia Dortmund has reopened negotiations for midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka as Chelsea aims to streamline their squad.
