Financial Constraints Impacting Transfers

In the 2024-25 season, Barcelona's expenditures on player acquisitions and wages surpassed their revenue, leading to complications in registering new players. Flick stated, "For me, the situation, you can imagine I'm not happy about that. But I know the situation and I believe in the club."

Recent Registration Challenges

Barcelona's financial woes have been a recurring issue. Last season, they managed to register Dani Olmo only as a special exception for the first half of the season.
