Cristiano Ronaldo: Defying Time and Building a Legacy at 40

At 40, Ronaldo continues to redefine athletic longevity while expanding his business empire, fueled by relentless ambition.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the iconic forward born in Madeira, is more than just a football player; he is an embodiment of determination and ambition. As he approaches his 40th birthday, Ronaldo demonstrates that the twilight of his career may still hold remarkable achievements.

A Lifelong Learner

Ronaldo's insatiable curiosity sets him apart. Regularly reaching out to Portugal's national team doctor, Jose Carlos Noronha, he seeks recommendations for scientific articles on nutrition and fitness. This quest for knowledge reflects his commitment to maintaining elite physical and mental prowess.

"He's someone who does everything required to maintain the highest levels of physical and mental fitness. He's a true example," remarked Noronha about the footballing legend.

The Quest for Perfection

Ronaldo’s confidence is unwavering. Recently, he expressed his thoughts on Spanish TV: "I think I'm the most complete player to have existed." This confidence is rooted in his extraordinary achievements; astonishingly, he has scored more goals in his 30s (460) than in his 20s (440), proving that age is merely a number in his realm.

Goals Still to Achieve

As he embraces the challenges of his 40s, his ambitions remain high. Ronaldo aims to play in the upcoming 2026 World Cup, break the 1,000 career goals mark (currently 923), reach 250 caps for Portugal (he has 217), and share the pitch with his son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., who plays for Al-Nassr's youth teams.

“Ronaldo does things, but he does them knowing all the whys, and that's what impresses me," said his former Al-Nassr coach, Luis Castro.

A Global Icon

Beyond the pitch, Ronaldo’s influence transcends football. He has shifted perspectives, turning a nation known for its inferiority complex into a global powerhouse in football. He’s not just a player; he represents hope and ambition for his country.

Building an Empire

While his football journey continues, so does his endeavor in the business world. Ronaldo has hinted at becoming a co-owner of Al-Nassr, and his plan doesn’t stop there. With aims of owning a major football club, his business ventures already span diverse industries, including hotels, hair transplant clinics, and even a YouTube channel boasting 73 million subscribers.

"I have so many plans and dreams ahead, but mark my words - I'll be the owner of a big club, for sure," he stated during the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony.

As he continues to stack accomplishments both on and off the field, one thing is clear: Cristiano Ronaldo's legacy is far from over.
